CHARGE

 

Do not use the battery (Main, D-Tap, USB) while charging. Ifso, it may cause a charging error or damage the charger.

Charge the battery to full before first use.

When you charge this battery, Battery capacity LED gaugebutton will turn on indicating the capacity being charged.

Lithium ion batteries have a slight self discharge,therefore it is recommended to charge prior to use.

 

DISCHARGE

 

Do not use the battery (Main, D-Tap, USB) while charging. Ifso, it may cause a charging error or damage the charger.

Camera's low voltage alarm is recommended to set 13~13.5V

Battery will stop at 12V to extend its life.* Microwave transmitterswith 5W outputs or over should be kept as far away from the battery. It maydisrupt or stop supplying power.

Be sure to remove the battery from the device after use. Ifso, it will consume large standby power and over-discharge protection may beactivated.

USB is activated by pushing Battery capacity LED gaugebutton. USB power will turn on automatically 30 minute after no use.

Battery run time reduces when it is working below or abovethe recommended temperature range.

The Gen Energy V-mount battery uses PC materials to providethe strongest protection against physical shock and is a flame retardant zerograde (highest grade) material. Based on this, each cell is protected with acontainer and the battery is protected from falls through a reinforced verticalframe structure. As a result, the U.S. Department of Defense has obtained thequalifications for the product that meets the military standards.

To achieve this robust durability, we adopted a reinforcedvertical frame structure, designed with multiple junction structures, whichallows eight bolts to retain frames. Inside, a container structure holder wasapplied to each cell to prevent an internal shock that could be present in asingle cell.

Containers in the Gen Energy V-mount battery are made frompolycarbonate material. It shows excellent durability in the harshest-casetests, and has passed the Millspeck test more than 1.2 meters, 26 times.

 

Self-test has passed 10 metres drop test, 1.5 metres 150drop test, 1600 RPM vibration test, -20 ° C to + 60 ° C (-4 ° F to 140 ° F)operation test, and has durability that is acceptable for a 3 tonne mass ofpneumatic vehicle.

High speed charging

The Gen Energy V-mount battery has the fastest chargingspeed in the world. Up to 6A, four batteries are charged at the same time (withG-C100, G-CB100 chargers) to demonstrate 8x faster charging efficiency than thethird party. This function is available on 290W, 195W and 160W batteries. (The98W battery will charge up to 3.0A.)

 

The Gen Energy V-mount battery performs real-time, precisioncell validation by the Intelligent Cell Balancing Program when charging. As aresult, each cell maintains the optimum state of charge. Using the AFE IC,measure the precise cell condition and measure the current due to theultra-precision resistance of 0.5%. It's the only and most complete technologywith software that controls the hardware by measuring its precise batterycharge.

Long Life

The Gen Energy V-mount battery is manufactured fromSamsung's 3,500 mA 18650 lithium-ion battery. Self-examination shows that themost electrical components are the best, and the best parts are selectedthrough periodic testing.

It also protects the battery cell using only 90% of the cellcapacity. Due to the nature of the lithium-ion battery, if the remainingbattery charge reaches 0%, the life of the battery will fall dramatically. It is recommended that the Gen Energy V-mount battery usethe cell indicator reset function once every 12 months. When the indicatorbutton is pressed for 15 seconds, the processor within the battery checks theinside of the battery to check the status of each cell, such as capacitydegradation, to show the correct amount of charge.
