RE:Map is a set of plug-ins that allows UV coordinates-based texture mapping in post and includes a complete (un)distortion/displacement mapping toolkit.
RE:Map is well established in hybrid 3D/2D pipelines, as demonstrated in many TV projects. RE:Map has become the best friend of motion graphics artists on short deadlines and semi-automated pipelines where the render once/use-all-the-time it enables saves the day.
New and updated plug-ins in RE:Map v4
RE:Map Transform: (NEW) Makes it easier to move UV assets between different systems, including 3D rendering systems that support UV map inputs in their camera settings for lens distortion.
RE:Map UV: Now sports Adaptive Sharpening . You can now do mipmap smoothing where the image mesh contracts, while independently sharpen function of how much the displacement locally stretches.
RE:Map Inverse UV: Now handles inputs of different sizes (appropriate when using it to undistort, like a lens effect rather than its original purpose to unwrap) and with separate X and Y ratio scaling. Simpler workflow in Fusion, Nuke, Hitfilm and Natron. Improvements on frame edges handling (important in undistort-distort workflows).
RE:Map also includes RE:Map Corner Pin (with inverse corner pinning process), RE:Map Displace (displacement maps) and RE:Map Distort (stylized distortion effects).

Sony Eye Candy
RE:Map UV was used on the face with dripping paint, in order to speed up turnaround time for client changes to animated texture used.
Created by Süperfad. New work for Sony is startlingly beautiful and a surreal homage to its global brand message of “make.believe” and a tribute to the pleasure of eye candy.
Bonfire Labs rendered a UV map from a 3D authoring program and used RE:Map to interactively replace the client video in a compositing program. RE:Map provided faster turnaround of alternate versions without having to go back to the 3D system.

Maps or inverse maps a perspective plane defined by 4 points (also known as corner pinning).
Warps an image with a user-supplied displacement map, using many more options and advanced filtering controls than most other displacement map filters.
Ability to take a color image and automatically distort it based on the features for a caricature-like effect.
This product is GPU accelerated.
