The Studio Projects B1 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone ideal for capturing instruments and vocals in recording applications. The B1's gold-sputtered 1" pressure-gradient transducer and transformerless circuitry provide high-quality audio with extremely low self noise.
The mic has a cardioid pickup pattern to reject off-axis sounds. It also provides 75Hz and 150Hz selectable filters to reduce low frequency rumble and hum. Selectable pads let you choose between -10dB and -20dB, perfect for recording extremely loud sound sources. The mic has a standard XLR connector and operates on 48V phantom power. A foam windscreen, shockmount, and zippered storage bag are included.
