It is vital for a card to sustain a data stream of a certain bitrate from the camera to avoid any dropped frames. Sustained speed refers to the card’s recording speed that will not drop below a certain point. When it comes to CFexpress, the industry would have you believe that maximum speed is the lead indicator of quality performance.

Don’t fall into the trap of thinking max speed is the best speed! Many media cards that promote max write speed often burst out of the gate and then level off into a comfortable operating speed for recording... IF they can even hit those speeds at all.

Keeping it cool where it counts. Our advanced thermal management system prevents system meltdown or worse, lost data, by monitoring the operation temperature of the card. The sensors automatically signal a safe shutdown or adapt performance if things start running too hot.
